Hey Hoopers! The STL Hoop Club and the Shanti (a local groovy establishment in Soulard) are having a pre-party benefit on October 22 for World Hoop Day St. Louis happening on November 11, 2011. The goal of the benefit is to get a jump start on the collecting of product and building of 100 hand-made hula-hoops that will be donated to the Shaw School in Dogtown.
We need you to come down to the Shanti on Saturday from 2-6pm. Kids are welcome on the patio till 7pm. We will be building hoops, there will be food for sale, and music! The food sales proceeds will be split between World Hoop Day and TOCO- two great causes in St. Louis.
Welcomed is your $10 donation to the hat, your donated hoop product, or your donated gently used hula-hoop. 2011 marks the third year the STL Hoop Club has reached for the stars to make a difference in a child’s life with a hoop, and have an amazing event for hoopers.
