Celebrating 9 Years of Hooping in St. Louis

January 2nd, 2017 · News

The New Year has come and with it the St. Louis Hoop Club celebrates 9 years as a club, organization, and business.  The hoop culture continues to shape itself around its participants and grow becoming more and more popular and mainstream.  Throughout the years the Club has been fortunate to participate in roughly 700 events if we had to guess.  We kept a loose count here… We have partnered with many local and international organizations to bring hoops performers and instructors in to teach and dance.  It has been a whirlwind- its hard to believe so much time has passed.

Looking forward 2017 we have much to be excited about- much to plan- and lots of hoops to hoop.  The offering of weekly hoop classes will continue at Gateway Flex Studio (located on South Grand) and performance will continue to be offered in partnership with Circus Kaput.  We are excited to be planning and offering more Sunday Spin Jams which are located on Cherokee Street for the year in addition to planning the biggest World Hoop Day celebration we will be able to come up with to celebrate a decade of hooping in St. Louis.

We thank you for all of your support and look forward to 2017!

Hoop Love~
