Geoff Hartman is an in house specialty instructor for the STL Hoop Club. He is also a member of the Cosmic Collaborative. Geoff has been spinning poi and other flow props for several years. He has performed at many events locally and regionally and is considered an advanced performance artist in our community.
Learn how to spin poi with Geoff monthly in a welcoming environment designed for beginners to advanced students. Their will be a Poi class this Sunday from 5-6pm at the 2720 Cherokee Studio. A new series of logos and visual designs for the STL Hoop Club and Cosmic Collaborative are in the works! Below is our first new design created by local artist and tattoo artist Amanda Pepper Jensen. Amanda is a resident tattoo artist at the very cool South City Cheap Tricks tattoo shop and novelty parlor. She does custom design and has a variety of work to choose from. Check out her website!
Cosmic Collaborative member and solo artist from Lawrence Kansas Surka Noelle performed with the electronic duo EOTO at this years Electric Forest event held in Michigan over the 4th of July. Below is a video of her performance. Eoto is comprised of two members and both also play with The String Cheese Incident. The String Cheese is known for showcasing hoop dancers. The STL Hoop Club is proud to have many sister clubs in the hooping community. These include the St. Charles Hoop Club, Springfield Hoop Club, and T-Roy Hoop Club of Missouri. Below pictured are our hoop friends from T-Roy rocking out at a community parade. T-Roy Hoop Club is coordinated by Windy Ray of Troy. She has been a member of the St. Louis Hoop Club for several years.
