The St. Louis Hoop Club aka the STL Hoop Club
Welcome friends, hula-hoop enthusiasts and flow artists. Throughout the nation hooping has become a past-time once again. We are proud to offer St. Louis and surroundings communities the outlet to experiment, play, perform, learn, and love. Our goal is to provide visitors and members a unique hoop dance or spin related experience.
Offered are in-house workshops with performers and certified instructors, specialty guest workshops, several levels of classes, private lessons, and Sunday Spin Jams. We also teach in local schools and work with local kids programs such as the Girl Scouts of America and many of their local chapters.
The Cosmic Collaborative is the performance group of the STL Hoop Club. Offered are on-site elevated performances with expertise skills and the option to have included elaborate costumes, fire performance, aerial, lyra, and special choreography designed specifically to the event. Performances include local street events, private events, birthday parties, corporate gatherings, school events and more! World Hoop Day St. Louis
World Hoop Day 2010 hoop donation
World Hoop Day is the hooper’s holiday. There is a big event, it usually offers a variety of performance, workshops, and other activities. In St. Louis we do our part by giving 100 hand-made hoops to a chosen school in the St. Louis Public Schools district once a year as our contribution to the World Hoop Day concept. The STL hoop Club to date has donated 300 hand-made hoops to three different schools and taught over a dozen workshops in direct relation to this project.

Sunday Spin Jams at 2720 Cherokee
Offered is a bi-monthly open to the public meet-up called Sunday Spin Jam. These Jams will be offered occasionally in the daytime and at night. Please see our Facebook posts for current dates or our side-bar-mini-blog. A five dollar donation is requested, but not required. Typically we meet twice a month on Sunday afternoons from 1-4 pm 2720 Cherokee Street. Music is played by PA system or the occasional live band or DJ. Over 40 demo hoops of various sizes, weights, or lights are at your disposal to play with. Please bring your own water and dress comfortably.
Our passion for the hoop is deep and dedicated. We believe that hoops can change lives, lift spirits, heal, and give you a great workout. To us hooping is the ultimate form of expression through dance. Due to amazing support we have made partnerships with the Botanical Garden, St. Louis School District, Koken Art Factory, Art Dimensions, 2720 Cherokee, 88.1kdhx and so many more.

The Cosmic Collaborative

The Cosmic Collaborative is a group of dedicated flow artists from St. Louis and surrounding areas. Our group consists of 14 members with a variety of circus arts skills. With a passion for performance, our goal to bring your event to the next level.
Our performance artists use various props such as hula-hoops, fire hoops, poi, eat fire, and dance with ariel silks. All performers are experienced and professional. Individuals carry their own insurance for performance. Costuming can be created for any event theme for an additional cost.
Types of events we participate in include: music festivals, social gatherings, school workshops, private events, art shows, music shows, fund raisers, corporate functions, benefits and more. Please book two months in advance to secure your requested dates.
