Wanna learn to hoop? Know how and wanna learn more? Wanna learn something completely different? Join the STL Hoop Club and friends as they lead 4 unique and different flow focused days of workshops at the Wakarusa Music Festival each morning from10:45 to noon Thursday through Sunday located at the Satellite Stage. The morning will start with a fun warm-up followed by options for hoopers and the curious to attend multiple levels of classes with different focuses on flow, movement, and releasing your inner god or goddess. Hoops will be available to share. Workshops offered will be Falling for the Single Hoop (an introduction offered daily for the new aspiring hooper), Single Hoop Bliss for the more advanced hooper, Double Hoop Bliss, Minis Flare, Single Staff, Contact Staff, Hoop Fusion (bring any props you love, suggestions, poi, staff, umbrella, ect)- and Conceptual Partner Hooping (you do not need a parter, we will pair you up). Anyone can hoop!
Who is the STL Hoop Club?
We are a dedicated group of collaborators, lovers of spinning, and teachers of the spinning arts. We foster a unique and growing community of hoopers and dancers in the St. Louis Metro area and travel. Offered are classes taught by knowledgable, trained instructors as well as unique and totally awesome traveling workshops taught national and international guests. Our group of teachers and performers participate in over 100 events annually. We believe that hooping changes lives, and we hope to inspire you at Wakarusa 2013!

Michelle Schaeffer, founder of the STL Hoop Club has been volunteering at this event since its beginning. The hoop club is delighted to host a variety of flow workshops at the 2013 festivities for the 4th year. More to be announced.
